What is it?
You can claim tax relief on annual subscriptions to HMRC-approved professional bodies relevant to your job — including the BMA, RICS, ICAEW, Law Society, IET, and hundreds of others.
Who is eligible?
You must pay a subscription to an HMRC-approved professional body, and membership must be relevant to your employment.
How to claim
Apply online at GOV.UK to get tax relief on your professional subscription. HMRC will adjust your tax code, or you can claim via Self Assessment.
